10th Wedding Anniversary

How blessed I am to have married a wonderful man in such a wonderfuly beautiful Temple.  I thank my Father in Heaven that Ryan is my eternal companion and father to my sons.  I love Ryan more today than yesterday and can't wait for many more years together.  He really is my very best friend and I know that I can tell him anything and he will love and support me.  He is my rock, my role model and very best friend.  We have gone through so much joy, so much pain, so much change, so many moves, death, life and wonderful happiness.  Thanks for the past 10 years of marriage!

7 months old

Dax no longer takes binkis at all.  He loves to be held at all times, he is 100% happy if I am holding him, he loves to climb all over hunter and he's discovered how to go behind the couch and get the all of Hunter's legos wich I thought was secluded LOL

Incredible

This was what I could see just looking out our window in our home.  The sky was on fire and I had to take a picture so that I could always remember the beauty of a sunset.

6 months old now

Where does the time go.  This little guy sits all on his own and ARMY crawls to wherever he wants to go in our home.  He may be a bit slow at the present moment in his crawling skills but I am sure in a week or two I won't be calling him slow.  Oh and he got his very first tooth.  Bottom Front Right one just came in :)

Preston trip

  These are some of our most favorite moments from our trip!  We love being with our family, having Hunter hang out with his Cousins.  Visiting Hudson's Grave, seeing all the rollings hills of Preston and visiting as many family members as we can in the short time frame we are there to visit.  We feel very blessed to have such wonderful family and it sure was fun to show Dax off to all of them.  And also we have loved keeping this tradition of spending Halloween and Ryans birthday with family.  Don't know if we will do an October trip again as we realized kids are busy now with school and tons of extra curricular things that it makes it hard for us to spend as much time with everyone as we want.  So this trip was a bit bitter sweet as I realized we may only be headed over there in the summer time now.  Man how life does change but this trip went by fast but man oh man it was a fun trip.

 Two of my most favorite things about Dax as a baby is #1 I love his smile and the cute sounds that he makes when he is staring at you and wanting you to focus 100% on him.  #2 would be the way he sleeps, to me he looks as though he is constantly praying and I just love how peaceful he looks.

My little upside down boy!

Hunter inspires me to do new things and work hard on improving the things I am  good at.  For Hunter standing on is head comes easy and he practices EVER single day.  He is strong, brave and loves to show all of his friends his mad skills in this department.  

Coast Guard ready

I love this kids imagination.  Not a day goes by that he isn't doing something that amazes me!  Since Ryan was at meetings for Church hunter and I came home played hard and both took a nap.  Well Dax and I took a nap and I did not expect to wake up to this sweet boy zonked out in his "Coast Guard" attire LOL. (notice the police badge as well)  Can't wait to see what this boy grows up to be, well actually I can wait as that seems to be happening way to fast.

First snowfall

Today we were blessed with tons of moisture that is very needed.  The snow is beautiful and so much fun to play in.  Dax was not a huge fan of wearing his extra warm snow outfit but we managed to at least get him outside and into the snow at least once.  Hunter played with his friends for hours in the snow and had a blast.  We love all the seasons!

I am tired

Today I'm thankful for sleep. Since having Dax I have not gotten much of it. But the memory of restful night sleeps is something to be thankful for. Lol. He is so worth it though.

Sleepy Bathroom boy

So funny story....  Ryan was in meetings and so me and Hunter and Dax were just chilling watching a show.  I looked down and realized Hunter was out, so I woke him up and told him to go potty.  Not two seconds later I hear a little thud and then I walk in the bathroom and find this.  I laughed so hard!

These boys is what makes my life worth every moment I have!  I sure do love these boys!

A special Sunday

So many special things to be thankful for this day.  First off today is a day that our family looks forward to as our first son Hudson would be 7.  Although tears are shed every time I think of him and how much I miss him I have to say it is such a blessing knowing that you have a child that is waiting in Heaven for you.  With this knowledge it gives our family the desire to work together, make good choices and prepare to see him again.

Today was also a special day for another very special reason.  My husband was asked to be 2nd counselor in the Bishopric which is a huge responsibility but I know he will be fantastic at it.  Because of this responsibility we wanted my dad there  with us and wanted him to  ordain Ryan to be a High priest.  It really was a very special Sabbath day!

A special day at Greenbluff

Nothing like spending a day together as a family hanging out and doing fun things.  Today was fun cuz we went out to lunch and then headed to Greenbluff.  We love being together as a family.  The day ended with watching some football and getting cozy.  I love my life!

2 months old

Reflection of a tiny heart!

This time of year always gets me into the reflecting mood. In 9 days time my little Angel Hudson would be turning 7 years old. There is not anything in this world that would make me forget his sweet face, his tiny hands and the 19 wonderf

ul days that we were able to spend with him. It is at moments like these that a beautiful picture like this one takes on such a sweet meaning in my life and causes me to reflect the tiny heart that left my earthly arms to be with our Father in Heaven.

Rolling oh my

So Ryan and I are sitting here hanging out with DAX and Hunter and all of a sudden Dax got really frustrated and then just rolled from his back to his belly and then back to his back!!!!!!!!!!! I am not fibbing at all we were so shocked. He has been rolling to his side since the day he was born and we were amazed at that but this was craziness we could not even believe it.  I think we may have a mover and a shaker on our hands what do you think?

Tender Moment

Hunter has the ability to touch my heart without even knowing it. This was a preschool project he did at school that is hanging on the wall and at first glance you won't think anything of it but if you take a moment to really look at this artwork you will see there is a Blue dot in the sky. It brought tears to my eyes. He is such a sweet boy and I am so thankful for the small reminders like this in my life.
