Baby talk

Well I have been so absent from the blogging world it is not even funny! I forget at times that there are some of you out there that are not on FB all that often and I need to update you as well! I am still far behind on my blogging and I do promise to get caught up! I have been so sick this week it is not even funny. And when I say sick I mean sick, I was just fine on Wednesday and hung out with a bunch of my gal pals until about 2. By the time I got home and kicked my feet up at 3pm I was in so much head cold pain I could not believe it. I had a migraine from out of this world mixed with a chest cold and I am still in recovery and it is now Sunday. The good news is I can finally open up the blinds on my windows and take off my sunglasses LOL! So enough about being sick on to pregnancy talk.

I have already had 5 ultrasounds thus far and baby looks good and healthy. About a week or so ago I met with the Perinatologist who will be working along side my OB to get me a healthy baby. When we say team effort we really mean team effort. My Dr.s both agree it is going to be a miracle if I DON'T go into labor in my 20's again! I told them there is always a first for everything but they told me not to think that direction as I have 100% preterm labor risk at around 25 weeks YIKES right. I am hopeful that with great Dr.'s by my side I can have this little one at a healthy gestation. The Dr.'s apts have been long and exhausting at times but now the fun begins. Since I am almost 16 weeks now I get to start up my weekly ultrasound apt.'s followed by an ob apt followed my my husband giving me my weekly shots at home LOL. I do love how many ultrasounds I get though, I feel a little lucky compared to most of my friends who may only get one or two. I do have an ultrasound this wed and since I will be 16 weeks there should be no problem finding out the sex of the baby as long as it cooperates with us. We found out with hunter at 16 weeks so I am hopeful.
