These pic's were taken one year apart just about and I just had to share! Oh how fast time goes by!

Muddy Fun!

OK, so I know I put a whole bunch of pictures to this post which is something I usually don't do but when my friend Becky sent me these I could not choose my favorites. Becky is new into the ward and her and I have been having some fun these past few days. As you can see our little day at the park turned into some fun muddy time for the boys! Now the only reason I believe Tucker is not covered head to toe like Hunter is because after running through the puddle a few times he got stung by a wasp for the 1st time EVER. So he was a tad more cautious than Hunter was. But these two had so much fun and I just had a ball watching them together!

I think these 2 will be good friends!!!!

Craft Day fun

Thanks Julie for a fun filled afternoon of crafts! I was so excited to get them up and see how they looked. I love crafts and I love to decorate so I guess today was one great fun day for me then! It was also great to see how well all the kids did and to see some friends today!

We found all the kids out in the yard in a circle having a ball!

Hunter & Kaden

Hunter loves his cousin Kaden and when the two of them are together they have so much fun! Today we had Kaden for a few hours of fun and we went to the park, climbed trees and played with toys!

Don't know how long he was like this!

The other morning I walked into Hunter's room to find him sleeping in this position! I had to take a picture! As you can see though, Pappy sure looked comfy!

My new calling!

About 2 weeks ago Ryan got a call from the Stake Presidency asking for an appointment! So the night of the ward party Ryan and I snuck out of the party and met with the Stake Presidency to our surprise, they wanted him to be the 1st Counselor in the Elders Quorum! It came as no shock to Ryan as he had been in this calling at church for just about the past 4 years. He was bummed to leave the Young Mens Program after such a short time with them but excited for what was ahead. To add to our suprise that following Sunday the Bishopric asked to meet with us. I looked at Ryan puzzled as I knew he was just given a new calling and I was very fresh in my calling in the Young Womens Program. To MY Shock, they called me the be the President in our Young Womens Program!!!!!!!!!! I am excited and scared all at the same time as this will be a big job. I am so excited though for the Presidency I have chosen, I think we will be a kick butt team together!!!!!

For those of you who know nothing about the Young Womens Program here is our theme we say every Sunday as a group! This will give you an Idea of what our goals are. I am excited for my new calling!!!!

We are daughters of our Heavenly Father, who loves us, and we love Him.
We will "stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things,
and in all places" (Mosiah 18:9) as we strive to live
the Young Women values, which are:
Faith
Divine Nature
Individual Worth
Knowledge
Choice and Accountability
Good Works
Integrity and
Virtue.
We believe as we come to accept and act upon these values,
we will be prepared to strengthen home and family, make and keep sacred covenants,
receive the ordinances of the temple, and enjoy the blessings of exaltation.

Lucky me!

So as I was walking home with Hunter from the park something told me stop and look down! Crazy I know but this is the first thing I saw. Never in my life have I ever been so lucky as to find one. I was so shocked I spent an additional half hour seeing if I could find yet another one! I NEVER COULD SEE ANOTHER ONE!!!!!
I needed some luck in my life, hope this makes everyone feel just a little luckier today!

Thank you Marti!

So last week while my parents were here I took my mom into Deseret Book and when I saw this painting by Greg Olsen "Take my Hand" My heart was so full! My first thought was "I wonder if Hudson ever gets to walk and talk with Jesus" It was at that moment Hunter walked up behind me and pointed at the painting and said, "Mommy that's Jesus and HUNTER." My heart was so full because at that moment I realized all children probably walk and talk with Jesus! Hunter saw himself in this painting and I hoped to one day own it. I did not think that by telling my dear friend Marti this story that she would surprise me with such a gift. This now hangs over my mantel as of today, to remind me that ALL CHILDREN WALK WITH JESUS! Hunter loved when I hung this painting up and continued to say Hunter and Jesus!

Wood chopping

We started this project a week ago and have managed to split a ton of our wood as well as a ton of Kameron and Julie's wood. We are tired of splitting wood but it will be so rewarding this winter when we get to cozy up by our warm fireplace! I love hard work that pays off!

Kaden was such a great helper!

There is my hunk swinging away!

I was still smiling after 12 hours of this! The log splitter sure did make nice for me to help all day long!

Another carrie visit!

Well as you all know, my parents were here and we did so many fun things. One of the best things we did was meet up with Carrie my old roommate for dinner at the Beehive Grill. Food was great, Root Beer was good, Company was the BEST!!!!

Hunter was sitting way across the table when he threw this and it was a perfect shot into the glass of root beer. It was so funny!

Yeah Hunter!

So we have had the toughest time getting hunter to be OK with his monthly fluoride appointment, but today it was a different story he pulled a chair up and did it all by himself! The nurse was so impressed with hunter as she has been working on him for about 6 strait months. Good job buddy
