Grand Opening!

So this morning we woke to over a ft of snow and we thought oh no here goes a bad turnout for grand opening! We knew we still had to go through with it but we wondered if anyone would show up! Needless to say We were packed shoulder to shoulder for most of the night! For the roads being as bad as they were, we were so grateful for everyone that came to support us! We have so many wonderful gals in this shop and the whole thing just turned out AMAZING!!! I have to say at times out doubted if we could pull it off but in the end I have to say I LOVE IT!!!! Seeing Ryan and I's stuff surrounded by other fantastic stuff that people have done is really wonderful! I am so grateful for the chance we have to be in this shop and I hope you will look for both the Mad Cow and Character Corner Creations on FB and connect with us. Here are some better pictures I took with my camera last night before we opened our doors! Thanks for everyone that has helped us out in the last few weeks! We appreciate it.

1 Ft of snow

All I can say is last night we got a foot of snow and it was so much fun to play in this am! Hunter had a blast if you can't tell! Lets just hope it doesn't ruin our shops grand opening tonight!

Sneak Peak

Here are just some sneak peak shots of the shop last night! We still have a bunch to do to get ready for tonight and this blizzard we are having does not help us out any! But hey, we can always have a Re-grand Opening in a few weeks but I am sure people will still come! The shop is DARLING!!!!!

Shabby coffee table

Before and after shots are so fun! Check this one out!

Darling coffee table

This is my most favorite piece ryan has made yet. Pic's are not very cute but you can get the idea we made this table BIG, and very shabby! I love that it opens so that you can put all things cute inside and still see them!

Sunsets are my favorite

One of the many things I love about our house it the great views out of our windows! There have been so many times that I have looked out and seen just the most amazing sunset ever! This was one of those times I had to capture! And just think, this is taken with my cell phone! Amazing how much prettier it was in person! Sunsets are literally one of my most favorite things to see! So grateful I live in such a beautiful world!

Endless projects

So sorry I am so behind in my blogging this past month but let me tell you just how busy we have been! Ryan is getting tons more busy at work with is AWESOME! As for me I am still representing Farmers Insurance MWF and then we have really increased our work load in the garage! We have a few clients we are doing personal furniture for at this moment in time as well as using every spare minute we have to build things that will go into the boutique here on the 24th of February(more info to come)!

Saturday we were out in the garage at about 9:30 and did not end until 9pm at night! We were exhausted but felt so productive! Ryan and I often talk about how blessed we feel when it comes to Hunter because he works right along side us and we had a productive fun family day! I painted and shabby'd up 2 end tables, I shabby'd up a cabinet that went to a friend! Ryan finished up an amazing coffee table that I will then paint this week (pics to come) He then started another big project as well! So productive and even more fun is that all day long friends popped in to visit us and our crazy messy garage! What a great day!

Daddy time

What can I say these two just really get along well!

Hunters big boy bed

A friend in our ward did a fantastic trade with me! I redid a cabinet for her and in exchange I got this absolutely beautiful antique bed for Hunter! I love it, Ryan loves and and so does Hunter!

Battle wound

While I was working on the computer on Friday Hunter was having the time of his life building a (construction site) needless to say he did't want to play any more after this HUGE scratch! Good thing it wasn't a deep wound I would have felt so bad! He is recovering well and being very brave!
